We are a fun, active Afrikaans family living in the Roodeplaatdam area in Pretoria with three children (ages 12, 11 and 7). The children attend school in Garsfontein, Pretoria East. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible and would like somebody that is content to commit for a period of 12 months and longer. I am very proud of my children as they are very loving, smiley and happy characters. I am are seeking someone that is interested in their development and overall well-being and that will interact with love and tenderness. You need to… * organize the children’s daily activities - fetching them from school, taking them to extracurricular activities, supervising other siblings during extracurricular activities, transporting kids home after school and extracurricular activities * ensure homework is done thoroughly * preparing lunch boxes for the following day * proper planning for the following day * occasional shopping & preparation of dinner on request * available for occasional babysitting during the week and over weekends * assist in the children’s general development (educational games, reading books, physical activities) * be experienced at working with young children You must be… * fit, healthy with a positive outlook, bright and able to use initiative * loyal, reliable, trustworthy and honest * energetic, fun, organized and independent * warm, loving, patient and caring, tidy * fluent in Afrikaans and English * able to make a long-term full commitment * between the ages of 19 and 45 * a Christian Please apply only if you have previous experience looking after small children and if you meet the requirements above.
