Household logistics and personal assistant work some mornings. We have another person daily for cleaning, but we all share duties to keep the house clean and tidy and you will need to help and liaise with our cleaning lady who is great at what she does.

Dear Au Pair Thank you for your interest in our family. We need someone who will fit in with our family as if they are part of our family. We are a professional couple both working full-time. We need you to fully commit and synergize with our family so that we can all fulfill our callings at work and home. We are friendly and respectful but direct in nature. Laid back if life allows it but quite busy quite often. You thus need to love our children and be a worthy example to them. You will be someone who "have our backs" when life happens. You have to be in sync with our values, live a physically active lifestyle, non-smoker, Love being outdoors but also like reading and education, have a true interest in caring for children and engaging with them, a kind heart, a good moral compass in line with our Christian values and preferably actively linked in at a local church. She needs to be able and industrious, punctual when needed, someone who takes initiative in her workplace but who can stick to boundaries/directives. She needs to be a good communicator, be a practical person with good insight, have adequate situational awareness with appropriate attention to detail. She also needs to be in good physical health in order to be able to keep up with, play and safeguard 3 lovely lively boys aged 12, 9 and 7. She needs to place her work duties first when she is on duty. She needs to be willing to become part of our family while working with us. We thus need someone that will fill my wife's shoes when she's at work: childcare etc in the afternoons, and then also help with logistics for our home / life / work as needed during other times as we can negotiate. My wife works afterhours at times and your roster will largely reciprocate this 3 to 5 times per month. We are a bilingual family but we need someone fluent in Afrikaans to communicate with the children in Afrikaans and to help with the children's homework. Our kids do not have any learning disabilities / special needs. To the contrary we need you to help develop and stimulate their bright little minds so that they can continue to be ahead of their peers and become who they are destined to be. We live on a lifestyle smallholding less than 5km from Meisies Halt (Gonubie), in a freestanding house with a lovely established large garden. I am thus looking for someone with the special combination of being efficient and industrious but then also kind and loving.
