"Dear Family" message

Dear future host family, My name is Micaela Stephanie W, I am 27 years old, I am born and bred in Cape Town. I would like to introduce myself by saying that I am a lover of children, being the baby of the family I’ve always wanted a younger brother or sister and somehow never received that and instead looked after babies in the family and family friends. I am passionate about children and I feel that they informed and I can be freely who I am around them without being judged or more like have my inner child come out.. I am very active and try to implement that into my job too, I’ve studied Personal Training but unfortunately due to financial problems could not finish my studies and have hopes of studying part time too. I am very outspoken, very vibrant, very family orientated & I am always up for a challenge. I have done an AuPair program in the USA for 1 year & 9 months, I arrived back home last year October & have been working part time aupair jobs. I am fully vaccinated and will be able to provide proof of my vaccination status.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I feel I would make the perfect Au Pair as I’ve always been around kids, I’ve looked after my sister and brothers kids and I am fully baby sense equipped, I am also currently in my second year as an Au Pair in the USA so I also have experience with kids in a different country. I also have experience of working in an crèche like environment too. I would make the perfect Au Pair because I have a genuine love and care for kids & would go out of my way for them. I always strive in being the best person to any host kid I’ve taken care of, I will always go above and beyond and I don’t mind doing things that are out of my duties as an Aupair.

Job description

My job was collecting the kids after school, lifting them to their extra murals, preparing healthy lunches/dinner for kids and mother. I also had the task of doing household shopping and personal errands for the family as well. I needed to prepare the school tuck for the next day and then was able to leave
