Description of tutoring experience

Au pairing has opened up various opportunities where I could work with different families which has enabled me to travel to different educational spaces with the children. While attending these classes, there were educational engagements where as an au pair you are given knowledge on the development stages of children and how to best assist them and encourage their growth (eg. Working on the fine motor skills of a toddler, the types of home activities one should carry out to enable these skills’s development). My tutoring experience includes home leaning which consists of different phases; educational activities (worksheets : maths and English), Arts and crafts, sensory play, pretend play and other stimulating activities.

Dear Family, I am a Bachelor of Social sciences, specialising in psychology and criminology graduate. During my time at the university I completed a module which focuses on child development, therefore I could be valuable to your family and children's developmental stages. I have 4 siblings at home that I take care of and have experience with looking after toddlers and older children.

I am passionate about children and have additional knowledge on their developmental stages. As a young adult, I can relate to both toddlers and adolescents.
