"Dear Family" message

Dear Family. Hi! Welcome to my profile. My name is Nqobile and I have a degree in Speech-Language Pathology which I believe will be advantageous to your child. I can offer help with schoolwork for the school-age child, early childhood development for your little ones and even help with special needs ranging from any communication impairments, or sight or hearing impairments to some physical impairments learned from my time working with a Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist. I am someone who is adventurous, kind, and responsible. I particularly enjoy happy moments making learning fun and creative. I have experience au pairing for a family with three children (ages 10,5 and 2). I transported them to and from school/home and to their appointments (i.e. hair, dentist). I also shopped for any of the children's needs. I helped with homework with the oldest child and then facilitated play activities with all the children. On holidays, I took the children out to various places (i.e. Bounce, Roll Egoli, etc.) to have fun during the holidays. I look forward to working with you and your young ones to ensure their best care!

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because I have great time-management skills so you can be assured that I will be on time with fetching and attending to your chilren. I am also very adaptable to the child and their way of learning whether it is through play or a more structured approach, I will cater to the individual needs of your child/ren. I have a license going on 5 years in December but have been driving for almost 8 years (got my Learner's at exactly 16 and began practising) so you can be assured that the safety of your child/ren is top priority when I am driving.

Hobbies and other interests

I am an outdoorsy person but do need time to recoup indoors. Some of my outdoor hobbies and interests include hiking, walking, playing sports (most especially touch rugby, hockey, and netball), going to get dessert, movies, and shopping. My indoor hobbies and interests include: reading, watching series, dancing to music, board games, and cooking/baking.
