"Dear Family" message

Dear family, My name is Kayla and I am a mature and responsible 19 year old looking for an au pairing job. I love children - I get along with them very well because I have a sister who is 9 years younger than me. I am from Pretoria; we used to live in Moreleta Park but moved to Menlo Park. I know Moreleta and Menlo like the back of my hands.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because I can confidently say that I know the big and small of childcare. I have younger cousins (elementary and primary school children) so I have quite a lot of experience with young kids. I am very responsible, flexible, reliable, honest and punctual. I am good at making an unhappy child happy in just a few minutes - I analyse them and make notes of what they like and then I use it to good advantages - for instance, if a boy likes playing with cars and is crying and is upset about something, I can try my best to fix his mood by making a fun game out of playing with the cars. I have a gentle heart and a soft spot for younger kids. I can also be firm (but still nice) if that is what a family wants from me. I can adapt easily and respect my superiors more than I respect myself. I am here to make your life easier, not more difficult :)

I love reading, watching TV, driving, shopping, drawing, music, gymming, making very nice summaries, making food, crochet and lots more! I tend to keep myself busy instead of sitting around and doing nothing - my father used to say "idle hands are the devil's workshop".
