Dear Family, My name is Kayla, I am a 23 year old 'boeremeisie' from Camperdown, KZN. I have three dogs and a couple of sheep and chickens that roam the family farm. I love all animals, though I prefer to view insects and reptiles from the other side of a glass pane. I also love learning, particularly about nature, science and architecture, a fact I attribute to my father. He would take every opportunity to teach me and my sister about the world we live in, whether it was part of our daily life or a novelty spotted during road trips. My goal is to put that same love of learning in young children; to feed and strengthen their inherent curiosity about the world around them and to cultivate their critical thinking skills.
