Introduction to families
Hey Family! It is so lovely to have the privilege of potentially connecting with all of you. My name is Kristen but I prefer being called Kris (People tend to remember it better). I am a happy go lucky person and always try to see the brighter aspects in life. I have such a calling when it comes to the well being of the tiny little brains that surround us. I am an activist for learning through play and always try and show our tiny humans that if they truly believe they can do something, they'll achieve it.
I have had many years of experience with children from many different backgrounds. I have assisted neurodivergent children through educational, emotional and personal set backs. And I think that the key to any happy child is to assess and stress their emotional and social well being. From the past I've seen that everything else that may be important comes after. I feel that I am an extremely patient person who is big on open communication and transparency.

At Clift I worked as a Grade 3 teacher, as well as the Food and Nutrition teacher for grade 11's. I provided Drama for the children at Clift and we managed to put on a beautiful end of year play. Clift is a school that is based on the Montessori philosophy whilst using a Cambridge syllabus. This school was a wonderful environment to work in and allowed me to teach a small class of 6 children. My class consisted of children who are on the autism spectrum, children with dyslexia, children with high anxiety and children who were not able to keep up with a mainstream environment.
