"Dear Family" message

Dear Family My name is Monique and I'm living in Pretoria, originally from Durban. I am a qualified high school art teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I have just returned from teaching abroad for 2 years in an International Cambridge school and am looking to tutor/au-pair during my sabbatical from June until December. I also have extensive au-pairing and child-rearing experience: I have 3 years of au-pairing experience for children between the ages of 3-10. I au-paired for 7 months abroad in Italy and 2 years with 2 different families in South Africa. My au pairing has allowed me to be well experienced with cooking meals, transporting children, and managing play and work. I am always ready for the unexpected. I have a very big heart when it comes to people, as well as animals (huge animal lover!). I'm a very maternal person in general. I look forward to hearing from you! Lots of love. x

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I'm very friendly and bubbly, with an even temperament. I love being around kids of all ages and helping around and being useful, assisting others with their needs. I'm very patient, which I feel is a needed quality when working with kids. I love going the extra mile for people for whatever reason is needed. I have a passion for kids and teaching in general.
