Introduction to families
"Dear Family" message
I would like to introduce myself first of all as a family person. As a young adult, my biggest goal (other than the normal 'chasing business' and 'making money') is to start a family. And whether that means being part of another or making my own, there's really no difference. Being part of a family means to love unconditionally and share in the good and bad. But being part of a family also has its responsibilities, which I am prepared for. I have been working for Pre-Schools for nearly 5 years, and I have really seen from all sides that it does not just require you being there, but also being present, going through the tough times and also laughing from the belly at silly things. And most important, to choose your battles. Being transparent and honest is something that is overlooked, but something that no person can successfully function without. It is one of the most important aspect, as it allows people to put their full trust in you. I would also introduce myself as an introvert, but use that to my fullest advantage. Being an introvert also means that private stays private, I don't talk to others about things that don't concern them, and do not indulge in gossip. I value the people in my life more highly than I value sacrificing their trust and honour for something dishonouring or to satisfy my own 'want to be'. At the end of the day, all that matters to me is to know that I have done everything to make sure that they feel loved, heard and cared for, because even as adults we need to know that someone looks out for us.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I would make the perfect Au Pair for the simple reason that I value everyone around me and can make things happen. As an Au Pair, the family is top priority, and what they need is what I will make happen. There's no 'I don't know how', only 'I will find out if I am unsure'. I adapt quickly to new environments and situations and look forward to new opportunities and challenges.
Hobbies and other interests
As a child, up until the age of 22, I enjoyed horse riding. This was where I spent my weekends and days off and enjoyed my time when I had no other responsibilities. I owned a horse of my own, but unfortunately had to sell him due to financial reasons during Covid time. Today I enjoy coloring, reading and the occasional hiking when I have free time. Being outside under the sun is my favourite part of every day, whether that means going to a water park, walking around the block or soaking in the sun next to the pool (especially in winter). I also enjoy being active and doing activities that challenges me physically (like a trampoline park or ninja course) and mentally (like detective games, etc.).
